Psionic technology scans the area in front of a ship to detect obstacles above the waterline while moving at speed—providing range, position, and relative speed of multiple, simultaneously tracked obstacles.

  • Adjustable width, from narrow- to wide-field of view
  • Distance greater than 1 mile (1.6 km)

  • < 6″ (0.15 m)
Obstacle Detection Size
  • Detects obstacles 1′ x 1′ x 1′ (0.3m x 0.3m x 0.3 m) or larger, above waterline
Obstacle Detection Speed
  • 0–200 + knots (225 + mph); Approaching, receding, parallel
Ship Speed
  • 30 + knots (34.5 + mph)
Interface
  • Interfaces with ship’s data bus

  • Hardware provided on a motion-stabilized mount
  • Eyesafe Class 1 laser operations
Signature
  • Low Probability of Detection (LPD)
  • Low Probability of Interception (LPI)

Psionic technology detects small objects with extreme accuracy at distances greater than 1 mile (1.6 km).
